Dispatch
For support teams

Fewer “where is my order?” tickets. Better handoffs for the rest.

Dispatch is the AI front door to your helpdesk. It resolves the repetitive questions on your storefront, around the clock, and passes the conversations that need a person to your team with everything they need to pick up.

Bring your own AI key and pay your provider at cost — no per-resolution fees. Dispatch plan pricing: see dispatch.osroc.io.

How it fits your support stack

Dispatch doesn't replace your helpdesk. It sits in front of it, on the storefront, where shoppers ask first.

  1. Dispatch answers firstOrder status, shipping and return policy, sizing and product questions, answered from your real catalog, policies and order data.

  2. It hands off with contextWhen a shopper asks for a person, or the AI can't help, your team gets a ticket or Slack thread with a short summary, intent, order numbers and the transcript.

  3. Your team replies where they workReplies from Gorgias, Zendesk or Slack show up in the shopper's chat (and by email), and the shopper's follow-ups land back on the ticket.

Handoffs your team will like

Beta

Gorgias and Zendesk tickets

A ticket with the shopper as customer, tags for intent and urgency, and an internal note or private comment with the summary, order numbers and transcript. Public replies show up in the shopper's chat.

Live

Slack live threads

Each handoff opens a thread in your channel. Reply in the thread and the shopper sees it in the chat, live.

Live

Email, always

The built-in fallback: a handoff email with the summary and transcript, and an optional confirmation to the shopper. If a helpdesk call fails, the handoff falls back to email.

Live

Business hours

Set your opening hours. Outside them the shopper is told when to expect a reply.

Careful with customer data

Consent-aware

Shoppers agree before their email is shared with your team, and declined analytics consent means the transcript isn't kept.

Access log

Views of customer data by your team are recorded, for Shopify's protected customer data requirements and your own audits.

Confirm before acting

Anything that changes an order shows the shopper exactly what will happen and waits for a yes. You choose which tools run on their own.

No per-resolution bill

Run Dispatch on your own AI key and pay your provider at cost: about 3.7¢ to 11¢ per conversation on certified models, with no per-resolution fees. Compare at your volume.

Questions

Which questions can Dispatch answer on its own?

Questions your store's data can answer: order status and tracking (after the shopper proves the order is theirs), shipping, returns and other policies, product details, sizing and availability. With Corso connected it can also start returns and exchanges, asking the shopper to confirm first.

How does a shopper prove an order is theirs?

Shoppers signed in to your store are recognised automatically. Otherwise Dispatch asks for the order number and the email on the order, checks them against Shopify, and locks out repeated wrong guesses.

What does my team receive on a handoff?

A ticket (Gorgias, Zendesk), a Slack thread or an email with a two-to-four sentence summary, the shopper's intent, order numbers, tags, priority and the full transcript, plus a link to the conversation in Dispatch.

Can my team reply in the chat?

Yes. Public replies from Gorgias or Zendesk tickets appear in the shopper's chat (and are emailed as usual), and Slack threads are live: your team types in the thread and the shopper sees it. The shopper's follow-ups go back to the ticket as internal notes.

What happens outside business hours?

You set your hours. Outside them, Dispatch tells the shopper when to expect a reply and still files the handoff, so nothing is lost overnight.

How is shopper data protected?

A handoff needs the shopper's consent to share their email (signed-in shoppers excepted). Shoppers who decline analytics in your consent banner don't have their transcript kept. Every time your team views customer data in Dispatch it's recorded in an access log.
